Cami and Sean Hansen's wedding! December 18, 2015

We were anticipating the end of the semester so we could make a quick weekend trip to Utah to see Cami, Austin's sister, get sealed to Sean Hansen in the Salt Lake Temple. We drove to Portland to catch the flight to Salt Lake because it would be easier to fly back to Portland when we would be there for Christmas. We listened on audio book "Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library," another recommendation from Alice-Anne. Austin and I loved it.

We arrived Thursday night in Salt Lake and helped with a few set ups at the Church for the next day. I felt bad because Cami and Sean got a late start getting out of Rexburg so she didn't get home till after midnight. But I'm sure she wouldn't have gotten much sleep anyway. ;)

Friday, December 18, they were married in the Salt Lake Temple! It was fun to see aunts/uncles, cousins, and her close friends/old companions that came to the sealing. It was also great to meet Sean's family for the first time. All of his family got to be there for the sealing.

Side note: But December 18, 2012 was the day that I received my endowment so it's always special for me to be in the Temple that day.

After sealing and pictures at the Temple, we went to Herriman for a little luncheon. The Doutre siblings did a song for each part of their dating relationship stages. Austin and I were in charge of singing about their first kiss and her meeting the Hansen's for the first time. We used "Kiss the girl" for their kiss story and then "Follow the Yellow(stone) Road" for her meeting the Hansen's in Yellowstone. All of it was pretty funny to watch! I think some of Puyallup friends who were there were surprised that the in-laws were just as crazy as the siblings are. :)

That evening was the reception at Herriman. I didn't get hardly any pictures from it but the whole thing was based off the movie "Up" with balloons and adventure sort of theme. It turned out cute! Alice-Anne's family came too (kids were even dressed up in the colors-unplanned!) And of course dancing to end the night. We sent the newlyweds off with balloons, sticky notes, aluminum cans to the bumper, and yummy food.

After taking everything out of the Church, Austin, Bree, and I helped Mom and Dad Doutre organizing food and reception stuff as they were going to drive 16 hours to Puyallup the next day! I don't know how they did it but they made it.

Saturday, Dec. 19, Austin and I went to A-A's friends house to watch the Holy War game. Despite the loss, I was really proud of those cougs. Won the game in my opinion. Then kind of spur of the moment, we went to Salt Lake to see Mormon Tabernacle Christmas concert with Laura Osnes. It was dejavu as we just saw her 6 months prior. :) Beautiful concert!

Now for some pictures of the weekend!

Both sets of parents.
Dad, Becca, Abby Castelton, Davis family, Dave, Debbie, and Janice.
You could always find Austin playing with the kiddos.
The bridesmaids.
Ladies and the men. Sean and his brother next to him look like twins!
The guys trying to act cool.
On the brink of tears. So cute.
Love these people! So glad I'm related to them.
Classic Cami shot.

Beautiful Jorie.
10 p.m. Tired from reception clean up that we had to take some selfies with J-Love. She even stuck out her tongue on that one.
The Doutre's!
After the concert. Love being with this guy!
