Thanksgiving 2016

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving going back home to Oregon to be with my parents, the Vances, Caudles, and Seth's family in Eugene at Seth and Tiffany's house. Half the grandkids live in the Northwest so that was fun. Tiffany's sister, Katherine and her husband Matt and their daughter Amelie was there and boy is she cute! She is such a ham.

First, on Tuesday we went to the Vances for Isaac's 6th birthday. He is such a cute kid and we're so glad we got to celebrate with him!

 Isn't that cake awesome?

There was a friendly stick pull competition going on too:)

Activities during Thanksgiving included hot tubbing in the freezing cold. It actually felt so good. We played games, participated in the turkey trot (over 800 people were there!), swimming afterwards at the indoor splash park, eating and more eating, Thanksgiving program, and tour of the University of Oregon campus.

Pics from the week:

A lot of wrestling need to happen as well.
Oh Paxton you just melt my heart!

 Pre race selfie!
After the race. We had so much fun! I got to run with Ondalynn. A 5k is not bad when you get to chat with your sister the whole time.

So glad we could see Carol before we left. She looked SO happy. It made me happy for her!

  1. Love your write up about Thanksgiving. So fun to have you here! It just went by way too fast! You didn't mention that you decorated my house for Christmas! That was such a treat for me! I'm impressed that you could run and still chat the whole way!

  3. It looks like you had a great time. It was so fun to meet you a few weeks ago! What do you think of all this snow?! Are you going to try driving somewhere over winter break this year? (If so, be safe!)

    1. The snow has been crazy! We've already had issues with our car going into a snow bank a few days ago. It was so scary so we're really nervous about our trip to Utah. And yes, I so enjoyed meeting you too!
